Lets talk about MSI Raider GE76. Large games laptops are usually purchased by their speed, so we will start with Maxon’s cinebench R20, which is a reference point based on the engine used in your professional cinema4d application. More cores mean better performance and the 14 cores of the 12th Nucleus I1 i9 do not disappoint. That should not surprise anyone like 14 is more than 8.
The Katana MSI GF76 that is here is also a 14-core CPU, but in its stock environment, does not press the very strong CPU. In his performance environment, he actually moves in the second best position here. You should take the Raider GE76 score as a good indicator that usually performs multi-threaded or multi-core tasks, such as 3D rendering, CPU-based coding and even heavy-duty Excel analysis pretty good.
We have been to the long-time fanatics of the MSI Raider GE76. They are solidly constructed machines that offer reliable performance. That said, when it comes to the exterior, not much has changed in the last iteration. The interior, however, very superior hardware sport: the I9-12900HK laptop GPU and the GeForce RTX 3080HK laptop and NVIDIA GeForce RTX laptop. Not only was we pleased with the CPU and the performance of the GPU, but we also really liked the 1080p webcam and the audio punchy. Keep reading to learn more.
Since it is likely to be familiar with the GE76 Raider, we will jump talking about the exterior features of him here, except to point out the giant RGB led stripped of his forehead and go directly to what matters: the interior.

Keyboard and Trackpad MSI Raider GE76
The keyboard at the Raider GE76 has not changed a lot from the original version of the 10th gene. It is not our favorite keyboard, since it is still a little compressed for our fat sausage fingers, but it is useful. Continue with a key of 10 keys on the side also with a telephone keyboard design, which is simply not as useful as an adequate design of the calculator.
The keyboard has RGB backlight on key with very soft transitions, but continues to be encouraged compared to competitors, such as Asus Rog Strix G17. The good thing about the key 10 of the GE76 is the ENTER button that is placed near it. Interestingly, Asus is omitted this little at the Rog Strix G17.
Audio subsystem MSI Raider GE76
Although some will complain about large laptops, an advantage is generally better audio, which is decent at the Raider GE76. With its four speakers, the laptop provides a decent volume that has been improved by its Nahmic spatializer. The built-in microphones and noise cancellation are also quite effective as well.
Webcam MSI Raider GE76
The Raider GE76 was among one of the first to go from a 720p webcam to one of 1080p. The widely broad view angle makes it a pretty good option (especially combined with its decent speakers and microphones) to host zoom calls with more than one person in front of it.

MSI Raider GE76
The GE76 Raider is built around a set of six heat tubes and most of them are dedicated to the GPU of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop. However, MSI includes a new liquid phase change metal pad in the CPU. When temperatures are below 58 degrees celsius, the pad is solid. When the temperature, the liquefied pad rises. MSI says that design should improve not only cooling but longevity over conventional liquid metal, which can be crystallized over time.
The noise of the fan in the Raider GE76 is similar to the previous models. You can run annoying loudly, approximately 51db, when you are in high performance mode. MSI now has an intelligent automatic mode with “AI” which dynamically denominates fans and performance for EEK as many yields as possible. Certainly, those who wish that the highest performance will probably not care for the fan noise, but we would prefer to configure the laptop in its smart automatic mode. This mode saw the fan noise to a very reasonable 45DB range when 3DMARK TIME SPY is running.
You may think that the 45DB jump to 51dB (a massive difference) would result in a great difference in performance, but it is not so bad. In fact, in 3DMark Time Spy, it works at approximately 6 to 7 percent performance reduction in exchange for a very large reduction in noise.
